It is every UK Health Care Provider's mission to achieve an acceptable rating, either a Good or Outstanding in their inspection. To achieve such a rating is very demanding and involving as well as needing constant maintenance. The least that can be added to that is the stress of recruiting staff from a foreign land without the local know how, local recruitment expertise, local resources and local office to do so from. Not only recruiting, but recruiting well vetted and trained staff who are trained to what is actually required to work in the UK care sector.
A number of people who migrated to UK after spending months training and working in hospitals on voluntary work placements have arrived in UK only to find they had to do more training that was in line and that is actually required by the UK care regulator, CQC's requirements .
A number of people have been left depressed by not being able to work as they did not have the required training. Some have had to juggle working long hours, training and adjustments of migration. This is despite having spent a long time training and working voluntarily in hospitals and left holding certificates that are not recognised in UK as well as having gained skills that mostly not required for Health Care Assistants' a typical example of such are tasks that have to be done by a qualified nurse like bandaging wounds?
Using our practical knowledge of the UK Health Care sector combined with local understanding of what candidates are being trained in here in Zimbabwe, as well as an in-depth research on the issues that candidates are being faced with due to lack of UK care standards training; Global Health Solutions have created training facilities and partnered with UK training providers to provide candidates with actual training that equips candidates with the actual training, skills and knowledge required in UK.
The courses is set and controlled from UK and delivered virtually in a classroom setting in Zimbabwe. The training takes 5 days at four hours a day in Zimbabwe and one full day face to face classroom training after candidates arrive in UK. Candidates are then assessed in their workplace using a workbook. The training we offer is
The training ensures candidates are well trained and ready for their employer's induction on arrival in UK, significantly cutting down on waiting around without earning money. All the training offered will count towards NVQ qualification which one can enroll into if they wish to progress into care management.
